VISIT PHILADELPHIA is currently searching for a Photo & Video Specialist to join the team.

Position

The Photo & Video Specialist supports the photo & video team at Visit Philadelphia, serving as the lead in keeping the digital asset management system updated, organized and accessible to both internal and external audiences. The position will also assist in the planning and execution of photo shoots under the direction of the Director of Photo & Video.  The Photo & Video Specialist will also shoot photo and video to help build Visit Philadelphia’s asset library.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of DAM system to maintain an organized library and ensure all new assets are put through our internal processing system
• Assist with fulfillment of all internal photo and video requests, as well as all media requests for photography and/or video in a timely manner, securing licensing agreements where applicable
• Assist in post-production work, ensuring that:
  • Digital images are retouched, captioned, tagged, archived, shared with staff and uploaded
  • All invoices are processed
• Shoot photo/video as assigned 
• Assist in coordination of photo and video shoot logistics:
  • Contact venues for information and permits
  • Secure actors / models if necessary
  • Obtain releases and W9 forms from actors/models/locations before shoots, scan and file electronically
• Assist with contract renewals
• Attend shoots including off-hours (some nights and weekends)

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• BA or BS degree in a relevant field, or comparable skills and experience

Specialized Experience, Skills and Abilities

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Passion for and knowledge of Philadelphia and the five-county region
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Experience shooting either photo or video on mirrorless camera systems (Sony, Canon, Nikon, etc.)
• Must have a creative eye
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and/or Google programs
• Comfortable working independently or on a team
• Flexible with changing assignments, deadlines and schedule changes.
• Very organized and detail-oriented
